Under the Landscape Fire Management in the Western Balkans Programme, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and regional executing agency Farmahem (North Macedonia), CEDES is delivering education for farmers and local community members on landscape fire prevention measures, for the benefit of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.
The activities cover Central Bosnia Canton and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, with a team of forestry, agriculture, and media-production specialists working to raise local awareness of fire-risk prevention.
