Between January 2025 and April 2026, CEDES developed Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) for five local government units in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The work included Baseline Emission Inventories, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments, and Action Plans covering climate mitigation and adaptation measures — including landscape fire protection, forestry, nature protection, and biodiversity.
The process involved mobilising key local stakeholders, including municipal departments, emergency services, civil protection units, and firefighters. The project was funded through EC/LINK (with LINK Mostar as partner), worth BAM 43,400 plus VAT.
