On 3 December 2020, the Government of Sarajevo Canton adopted the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for the Canton and City of Sarajevo, developed as part of the regional ORF-EE project (GIZ, on behalf of the German Government).
The plan sets out a strategy for shifting from private cars to more sustainable modes of transport — walking, cycling, and public transit — guided by the principles of integration, participation, and evaluation. CEDES led the consortium responsible for drafting the plan.
